How to Measure

For the most reliable measurements, ask a professional seamstress or tailor to measure you. If measuring at home, use a flexible tape and keep it level and comfortably close to your body without pulling it tight.

Bust: With your arms relaxed, measure around the fullest part of your bust and across your back.

Waist: Measure around your natural waist, where your torso bends when you lean to the side.

Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

Description

Starla is a Silver/Nude mermaid gown with a scoop neckline and wide, embellished shoulder straps. A scrolling beaded pattern covers the fitted bodice and skirt, then gives way to a softer, layered tulle hem. The contrast between the close silhouette and the flared lower layers is the main feature of the design. Sheer areas around the bodice make the decorative pattern and corset structure more visible.

The front and back photographs show the low back line and the way the skirt widens near the floor. Starla is an option for prom, a gala or a formal wedding celebration when you want an embellished gown with shoulder coverage from straps rather than sleeves. Our styling suggestion is a delicate bracelet and earrings that complement the silver detail. The scoop neckline also leaves space for a short necklace, if you prefer that as your main accessory.
