How to Measure

For the most reliable measurements, ask a professional seamstress or tailor to measure you. If measuring at home, use a flexible tape and keep it level and comfortably close to your body without pulling it tight.

Bust: With your arms relaxed, measure around the fullest part of your bust and across your back.

Waist: Measure around your natural waist, where your torso bends when you lean to the side.

Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

Description

Bowen is a long chiffon gown with a softly pleated V-neckline and a beaded waistband. The A-line skirt falls from a defined waist in light, flowing folds, while cape sleeves drape from the shoulders. Most of the sparkle is concentrated at the waist, allowing the chiffon and sleeve shape to provide the rest of the detail. The overall effect is softer than a fitted satin or heavily sequined gown.

This design is suited to a mother of the bride or groom, a formal reception or an evening gala. Dusty Rose and Emerald offer two different color directions, with photographs showing the cape sleeves both resting and extended. Small earrings can complement the open neckline without competing with the waist detail.
