How to Measure

For the most reliable measurements, ask a professional seamstress or tailor to measure you. If measuring at home, use a flexible tape and keep it level and comfortably close to your body without pulling it tight.

Bust: With your arms relaxed, measure around the fullest part of your bust and across your back.

Waist: Measure around your natural waist, where your torso bends when you lean to the side.

Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

Description

Aaliyah Bridal centers its wedding look on satin draping and a corset bodice. The neckline falls in soft folds, giving the front a gentle finish above the defined upper shape. At the back, corset lacing adds another visible design detail.

The combination makes this a gown to consider for a destination wedding or an elopement when you want the fabric and bodice to carry the look. Our styling suggestion: keep jewelry light around the draped neckline and choose an updo or swept-back hair if you want to show the corset detail. Think about both the front and back when pairing the gown with a veil.
