For Prom, Mother of the Bride/Groom, Bridesmaids, or Wedding Guests, we don’t require an appointment to try on dresses. However, if you are looking to try on a Wedding Gown, we do go by appointment only. To book an appointment, please click here. We have a fee of $79 to try on wedding gowns, which will be applied as a $100 credit if you purchase your wedding gown with us. For any other type of dress, we don’t charge a fee to try on.
No, we don’t charge to make or cancel an appointment. Just give us a heads up if you're not coming so we can open that spot for another customer.

Our Prom collection starts at $169.00 and goes up to $999.00. For our bridal dresses they start at $299.00 up to $1,999.00.
Depending on the brand, style, and size. We can have a special order as soon as 1 - 2 weeks. Please call to request more detailed information.
All our sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or returns.
Yes. We have an in house seamstress that is an expert on this kind of dresses.
It will depend on what we need to do to the dress. On average, our customers spend between $79-$149 for a regular alteration on formal gowns and $199-$299 for bridal gowns.
On average we like to have 2 months before the wedding and/or bridal photo shoots, however we can always expedite. This depends on the dress and the amount of work involved. For the most accurate information please call to schedule a consultation.
Yes, we can do alterations to dresses that are not bought at The Dress Shop, except during the high prom season, which is from February to May.
Not at all! All our dresses are made to be altered and taken apart. However every gown is different, please call for more detailed information.

At the moment, we only offer shipping to the USA and Canada. Keep in mind that fees and duties may apply to shipments to Canada, which the customer will be responsible for.
